iPhone/iPod version for the visually impaired

Hello fringsters,

This is a note to our visually impaired users:

We’ve been listening to your comments about fring’s latest iPhone and iPod touch releases and, while we’re rushing to the next (and exciting) version, we’ve created this special version of the previous release (1.2.0.9) especially for you.

This version is titled “fring – visually impaired version” and is available at the App Store.

Thanks for your patience.

The fringTeam

Hey, this would be awesome if you made it for Symbian. I can voip just fine, but some of the dialogues and chat windows don’t read correctly with nuance talks. Would be amazing if this was done on more platforms. I’ve spread the word of this on twitter.

I am not at a point where I can get this app right now, but I will download it later. I just wanted to extend a huge thanks for such a willingness to meet the needs of our market segment. This is to be commended!

I appreciate your efforts in making your product accessible to folks using Voiceover. It is refreshing to see a development team taking ownership of a situation dealing with lack of accessibility, and fixing it. Your an A+ team of folks, and I am greatly appreciative.

Looking forward to giving it a go this afternoon, and look forward to your future releases.
