fring on the N8, ain’t life gr8!

Well N8 is here and fring on N8 is here. A month ago, our fearless Jonathan stood in the middle of a hurricane to show you fring on the N8.

Now, if you’ve got that fancy new phone with the Pamela Anderson ad and the 12MP camera put fring on that baby and start video calling, calling and chatting with your friends ASAP.
Hmmm just day-dreaming about a video call with Pammy…

Fring installation breaks the rss-feed feature (of the phone) in both Symbian^3 (N8) & S60 5th ed. (N97) phones, making the phone unable to update any rss feeds. When are you going to fix this?

    Tom Reply:

Will be fixed in the next release.

Hi, I can’t use gtalk in fring after I activated two way verification in gmail, it’s just due to the password length(application specific). Will you please resolve this issue by enabling longer passwords.
Also I have one more feature request, I am getting a speed of 30KBps over edge but video chat is unavailable. with the same speed (2g data plan) in 3g network I can make video chats. But 3g is not available all over india,So I kindly request you to integrate that feature over edge so that we can make video calls from anywhere as edge is available.
